Privacy Policy

Effective 27 June 2026

The short version: Dashboard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no analytics, no trackers, no accounts, and no servers. Everything the extension does happens locally in your browser.

What we collect

Nothing. Dashboard has no backend and makes no network requests to us or to any third party. We have no way to see what you do with the extension, what your new tab looks like, or which links you keep.

What stays on your device

Your settings make Dashboard yours. They are stored using Chrome's own storage and, where applicable, synced across your devices by Chrome itself — never by us:

This data lives in your Google/Chrome profile. If you sign in to Chrome, Chrome may sync it across your devices under its own privacy policy. You can remove all of it at any time by uninstalling the extension and deleting its bookmark folders.

Permissions, and why

Dashboard requests only what it needs to function, and nothing more:

Dashboard does not request access to your browsing history, your tabs, the content of web pages, or your location. The sunrise / sunset widget computes times locally from coordinates you enter yourself — it never uses geolocation.

Third parties

There are none. Dashboard does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking code, and it does not sell or share any information, because it has none to share.

Children's privacy

Dashboard is suitable for all ages and, since it collects no data, does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected before they take effect.
